Hello Everyone
My name (as you no doubt have seen at this point) is Micah Russell
Over 8 years with ServiceNow and over a decade of technology training. I have held numerous roles in my IT career starting, as with a lot of folks, as a field tech. Just previous to ServiceNow I was a Service Desk manager. As part of that role I managed the system we used for our Incidents and Requests (and, well, everything) and was responsible for pulling stats out of it. That goes way back, we were using Crystal Reports back then. I don't know if I remember how to use Crystal Reports. Maybe my brain blocked it on purpose because what we are doing here in ServiceNow Performance Analytics is so much cooler.

Hi Everyone! My name is Anna Scheib and I'm a curriculum developer here at ServiceNow. This is my 11th year at the company and, believe it or now, most of that time I've actually spent building content for Performance Analytics. So if you've ever shared feedback on one of our Performance Analytics classes, chances are I have read it! Data is definitely a passion of mine, i love building metrics and using them to uncover insights. Happy to connect and chat about all things data - https://www.linkedin.com/in/annascheib

Hi All - Mike Sherman here. I’ve been with Service Now for 12 years, starting as a consultant in our Customer Outcomes team, primarily for ITSM and Service Provider implementations. For the past 5 years I’ve been an application developer within the training organization developing our learning platforms and operations software (on ServiceNow of course). Prior to joining ServiceNow, I spent 20 years developing and architecting software systems or leading software teams in different industries. One common theme across my career is that it’s pretty easy to get large amounts of data into a system, but a lot more challenging to get it out in a way that is easily and meaningfully consumed by business stakeholders.

It was mentioned in class that because of PA we access to external import in reporting. Our instance has both PA and the Reporting modules enabled.
If an user only has access to the reporting module will they still be able to use the external import feature?

The Gregorian calendar is the calendar used in most parts of the world.[1][a] It went into effect in October 1582 following the papal bull Inter gravissimas issued by Pope Gregory XIII, which introduced it as a modification of, and replacement for, the Julian calendar. The principal change was to space leap years differently so as to make the average calendar year 365.2425 days long, more closely approximating the 365.2422-day 'tropical' or 'solar' year that is determined by the Earth's revolution around the Sun.
