Next Experience, Navigation, and Access ​Task - Failed

I was able to follow all the instruction steps and after I click validate botton, it failed everytime. Couldnt figure out what went wrong. I have tried using both chrome and edge browsers. No luck.

Common issues specific to Navigation & Access tasks:

The validation is often very literal. For example, if the task asks you to favorite a module or pin an app, the validator checks for an exact match — including the specific module name and the user session state. If you navigated away or the favorites didn't persist, it fails.

A few things to double-check depending on what the task is asking:

  1. Are you on the correct UI? Make sure you're in the Next Experience (Polaris) UI and not the classic UI. The URL should not have nav_to.do in it.
  2. Impersonation — If the task requires you to be logged in as a specific user (like System Administrator or a particular role), make sure that's still active when you validate.
  3. Filter navigator vs All menu — Some tasks are picky about whether you used the "All" menu or the filter navigator to access something.
  4. PDI state — If you're on a PDI, sometimes the instance needs a moment to sync. Try logging out, logging back in, and re-doing the steps immediately before validating.
  5. Browser zoom — Make sure your browser zoom is at 100%. Some validators interact oddly with non-standard zoom levels.
