No pre-filled data on developer org

Dear Community,

 

I am very sorry if I post this on the wrong forum.

Currently I am a big newcomer to ServiceNOW, basically trying to get into it with the first steps.

 

I try to complete the training course:

https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/learn/learning-plans/yokohama/new_to_servicenow/app_store_...

 

... and it mentions in this section that the developer Org should have data, at least in the knowledge section. "Searching for virus and finding an article".


However, my Dev org does NOT seem to have this pre-filled data, and before I continue any further I would love to have a correctly setup org to learn properly.

 

Things I tried:

- Refreshing the Org

- Setting my access to admin, as mention in the guide

 

Yet, nothing worked - does anyone have an idea what I did wrong?

Hi @Ushandul,

Please go to Platform UI (remove "sp" from URL) and access Knowledge > Articles > all.

Search Short Description column by "Dealing with Spyware and Viruses" and check the Workflow column.
Published articles are searchable at Service Portal.

Unfortunately I cannot find the articale in this new layout either.

While I was able to reproduce the page you show in your screenshot, I cannot find the menu item for "Articles" only "My Articles" which is empty.

 

Do you have any other idea?
