This 10-hour, 8-module course will teach you how to successfully implement core Now Platform functionality and serves as a prerequisite before learning to implement specific ServiceNow product-line(s). SNPI covers the common technical aspects of an implementation using the Now Create methodology, as well as a deep dive into understanding all of the roles and responsibilities of a successful deployment team. Interactive lessons, use cases, and hands-on activities guide you through an implementation, and the on-demand format allows you to work at your own pace.
The course material is presented by 4 ServiceNow Certified Master Architects through videos, on-demand modules, and hands-on lab activities. The course starts with an Introduction to the ServiceNow Platform Implementation and your hands-on simulator instance. The next section teaches you about Now Create and gets you working in your instance with a hands-on lab. Section 3 teaches you about the Initiate phase. Next, you’ll learn how to Plan your project with multiple lessons and hands-on activities. Section 5 covers the Execution phase with more lessons and activities. The next section teaches you how to Deliver your project. Section 7 teaches you how to Close your project and the final section, Section 8, closes the course with a course summary.
Learning Objectives for ServiceNow Platform Implementation include: Hands-on implementation based on functional requirements using the Now Create methodology; Virtual teaming, end to end sprint cycles, including planning, execution, and review, and using common resources to learn about the Now Platform; Configuration best practices and design principles and core system setup, including configuration management database (CMDB); Supported authentication options, application security and encryption, and instance Management and data hygiene; Automation with Flow Designer and integrations, including LDAP, Single Sign-on, and IntegrationHub; Testing with the Automated Test Framework, deployment of code to a test instance, and go-live preparation.
