Hello everyone!
I’m very happy to share that I’m currently preparing for the CAD Certification exam, and I’m hoping to get some guidance from this community.
While going through different forums and websites looking for study guides and resources, I’ve noticed that a lot of what’s available is either outdated, incomplete, or not aligned with the current exam objectives. Because of that, I’m starting to build my own notes and flashcards — but before I go too far, I thought I’d reach out here.
If anyone has:
Updated study materials or checklists for the current CAD exam
Flashcards or question banks they’ve used successfully
Tips on how to structure preparation (timelines, practice tasks, key domains)
Any recommended courses, labs, or practice exams
…I’d be very grateful if you could share them!
My goal is to create a comprehensive reference set aligned with the official exam blueprint and then share it back here for others who are preparing too.
Thanks so much in advance for any help or guidance you can offer! 😌

Hello there,
If you are preparing for the CAD exam, I recommend reading the ebook and then referring to these MCQs, which will help you understand how well you have prepared for the exam.

I’m thrilled to be part of this discussion. Many users have shared valuable insights based on their own experiences and knowledge. I’d also like to share a few preparation tips from my side:
- Start with the official ServiceNow CAD Documentation and complete the core Now Learning courses.
- Build small custom apps, review Glide APIs, ACLs, and follow a structured 4-week study plan.
- After completing official training, you can validate your skills using CAD Practice Tests.
Consistent practice and real-world application are the keys to success.
