ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals - On Demand (Latest Version Fall 2022): Lab 8.1

Hello -
Can anyone provide assistance to the proper steps to begin Lab 8.1: Create a UI Policy & Business Rules?
The instructions are "abbreviated", so the step-by-step portion is not shown.
I seem to be stuck on the very first item, which is to ADD a field to the "Manufacturer" form...which I cannot seem to locate.
I thought maybe there would be a step-by-step "answer" guide for figuring out this Lab?

Request you please share some screenshot to assit you. Also if you stuck

- Check the pre requisite.

- See any plugin missing or need repair.

- When a task fail, you will get error message in Lab, click on same and that will take you to SN docs which can helpful.

Hello, I was also foxed by this, I don't think there is a Manufacturer form from previous labs to amend. Instead I applied the change to "add Contact field" to the Company form on the Company table (core_company).

In section 2: Prepare Data, you use the updated form to create a Manufacturer record Infinity Products Inc.

This one was difficult because the ServiceNow Administration Fundamentals Participant Guide uses the word manufacturer whereas the ServiceNow platform uses companies. 

Spoiler Alert: If you want to attempt to test your knowledge without a walkthrough, close this window now and go do the work yourself. I believe the simple clarification between "Manufacturer and Companies" is enough to get someone through this task. This is designed to test your knowledge and get you to prepare for real-world applications.

Section 1

Prepare Manufacturer Form:

1. Navigate to All --> Organization --> Companies 

2. Create a new Company

3. Right-click on the Form banner and select Configure > Form Layout

4. Add "Contact" to the Form below |- Split -| (this will place Contact on the top right of the form).

Prepare Service Offering form: 

Repeat these steps to prepare the Service Offering form by navigating to All > Service Portfolio Management > Service Offerings.

Hi I did it this way, hope it helps!

Section 1

Prepare Manufacturer Form:

1. Navigate to All --> Organization --> Companies 
2. On previous lab Cloud dimensions was created, I opened that record. (Make sure you are on Default view)
3. Right-click on the Form banner and select Configure > Form Layout
4. Add "Contact" to the Form below |- Split -| (this will place Contact on the top right of the form).

Prepare Service Offering form: 

1. Navigate to All > Service Portfolio Management > Service Offerings. (Make sure you are on Default view)
2. On previous lab Infinity (HHD) was created, I opened that record. (Make sure you are on Default view)
3. Right-click on the Form banner and select Configure > Form Layout
4. Add "Manufacturer" to the Form under vendor.

Prepare Incident form: 

1. Navigate to All > HHD> Incidents and Inquiries, open an existing incident (Make sure you are on Default view).
2. Form Layout, scroll down to create new field for escalate to manufacturer as a true/false field.
3. Add the escalate to manufacturer field, under assigned to field.
4. Repeat process to add Manufacturer contact field, under escalate to manufacturer field.
