Task: Create iTunes Discovery Pattern (Part 1)

I am getting an unexpected error on executing my task for Discovery fundamental for ServiceNow university program. the task is Task: Create iTunes Discovery Pattern (Part 1) it basically asks me to execute discovery on a particular mid server Ip address but i get error in the discovery log as "Failed to access target system. Please check credentials and firewall settings on the target system to ensure accessibility: Access is denied." & Failed Exploring CI Pattern, Pattern name: iTunes, Process ID: 5724, To Check Pattern Log Press.

I don't remember any other credentials being asked to setup other than "Linux Servers" & "Windows Servers" the other credential mentioned in the list "Windows MID Server Service Account" wasn't asked to be updated but i made it up same as that of the mid server to check if that resolves the issue but it still didn't work.

Any suggestions?

As you are getting the issue in learning lab instance, you can raise a ticket to Now Learning Support for the assistance. They will fix it.

If you want to troubleshoot on your own -

1. Ensure Mid server is up

2. Refer this KB: KB0535240 Troubleshooting the Exploration Phase in Discovery

@Tanushree Maiti The MID server for the lab instance is up. Also the KB article only mentions about Probes and Sensors and not patterns. However I was able to resolve my issue through pattern designer itself it was still loading the tables and attributes correctly after sometime. Even though this error from the screenshot still kept on showing up. Anyways Thanks
