Special Interest Group for Accessibility Compliance

Since the San Diego release we've noticed issues with the way font is displayed in the Virtual Agent screen.  This has raised concerns about Accessibility Compliance, and how screens can be customised to suit a particular users requirements.  Accessibility needs are a high priority; whilst ServiceNow is being used extensively, part of everyone's working lives, it is crucial that we meet EVERY users needs.

Hi Darren

A really timely post, I think most organisations have a focus on accessibility these days, but yours is probably more focused for obvious reasons. We were discussing in the SNUG committee about this topic, and the possibility of getting a ServiceNow expert to join us at a future SNUG to present.

Special Interest Groups are ideally customer led, but with solid support from ServiceNow, which gives the added benefit of the right people from ServiceNow hearing real customer use cases and concerns, to get improvements into their backlog - and the opposite side of the coin, the experts can explain how a concern is already addressed.

If a SIG is setup, would you be interested in being the customer lead?

Hi Kay,

Thanks for your response.  I would indeed be happy to be the Customer Lead for this SIG.  If you'd like to email me, darren.holmes@dwp.gov.uk, to discuss further.

Kind regards,

Darren

Good Afternoon,

The Service Portal uses the following languages "HTML, JavaScript, CSS and AngularJS", Angular is not supported yet as far as I know.

Curious as to why there is a "how to buy bitcoin" link? are you looking at building your own exchange using Service Portal?

Kind Regards

Ashley
