AI Search - Button 'Open in new tab' does not working as expected in Washington DC version.

Hi all,

Currently, our customer's instance has just been upgraded to the Washington DC version and AI Search has been activated. When I search on the portal using AI Search, the results list show an icon 'Open in new tab,' but when I click on this icon, it doesn't work as I expected, meaning it doesn't open a new tab but reloads the page instead.

However, when I switch to the Employee Center Portal, clicking on this icon works as intended. As far as I know, this feature is new in AI search from the Vancouver version onwards.

Is there any way to configure this icon to work correctly when I search on the portal? It should open a new tab, but currently, it only opens in the same page.

Just in case anyone runs into a similar issue.

We experienced this issue in one of our non-prods, but all the others were fine.

We raised a HI ticket and it was an out of date widget.

We were using a 2023 widget in one and the 2024 in all the others.

The widget name was Faceted Search.

We had a custom cloned version of Faceted Search that needed updating.  We merged in quite a bit of new updates from the OOB version.
