My instance release is Washinton Dc and after I updated the Workflow studio plugin, I am unable to create any new flow. Whenever I click on new. It returns a blank page. Please look into it.

Hi @GSK42 ,

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve this issue:

Steps to Resolve the Issue:

  1. Clear Browser Cache:

    • Sometimes, old cached data can cause issues with new updates. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try accessing Workflow Studio again.
  2. Check Browser Console for Errors:

    • Open your browser's developer console (F12 or right-click > Inspect > Console tab) and look for any JavaScript errors or warnings that appear when you click "New Flow". These errors can provide clues about what might be going wrong.
  3. Verify Plugin Compatibility:

    • Ensure that the Workflow Studio plugin version you updated to is compatible with your Washington DC release. You can check the plugin compatibility in the ServiceNow documentation or by contacting ServiceNow support.
  4. Review System Logs:

    • Go to System Logs > System Log > All and check for any error messages or warnings that might be related to Workflow Studio. Look for errors around the time you try to create a new flow.
  5. Check for Missing Dependencies:

    • Ensure that all required dependencies for the Workflow Studio plugin are installed and activated. Sometimes updates can cause dependencies to become misconfigured.
  6. Test in a Different Browser:

    • Try accessing Workflow Studio in a different browser to rule out browser-specific issues.
  7. Reinstall Workflow Studio Plugin:

    • If none of the above steps work, consider reinstalling the Workflow Studio plugin. To do this:
      • Navigate to System Definition > Plugins.
      • Find the Workflow Studio plugin and click on it.
      • Click on "Uninstall" (if available), then reinstall the plugin.

Thanks,

Ratnakar

This KB article may help:

But it didn't help me - I'm on Washington Patch 4 in our DEV environment with the versions of the plugins listed in the KB article or newer and still seeing blank flows.  Test and Prod are on the exact same versions of ServiceNow and plugins and I'm able to open flows fine in those environments.

Experienced the same issue on one of our instances on Washington patch 6.
I did tried to first repair the plugin: Workflow Studio (sn_workflow_studio 25.2.5) with no luck, but when I tried to repair the dependent plugin: Flow Designer - Designer (sn_flow_designer 25.2.6) it did work again.
