We have a situation where two Preserve Data rules are defined on the same table (sys_user) in our application:
- One rule has one condition (preserves all users)
- Another have different condition (e.g., only preserve users where certain fields are not empty)
I'm trying to clarify the behavior in two scenarios:
During an instance upgrade:
- Will having two Preserve Data rules on the same table (with and without condition) cause any conflict or errors?
- Will both rules be evaluated independently?
During an instance clone:
- Are Preserve Data rules applied at all during cloning?
- If not, is there a way to preserve specific records (e.g., certain sys_user entries) during a clone?
