So, I am looking for some really detailed process of how the platform is being upgraded. I know we schedule an upgrade, exclude/preserve etc. But how the now platform behind the scenes does the upgrade...
Is it:
- the system picks a node (one out of the "n" number of provided) sends notification to the load balancer to move all the traffic to remaining nodes and without users connected to given node perform an upgrade so that the performance is not depredated.
- or maybe does the upgrade but with users connected, what with cache and reflecting new functionalities, do users have to refresh the session or smth?
