After upgrading to Xanadu, I encountered an issue where some fields become empty when performing an EasyImport from Excel into an existing table.
Although the Excel file contains data in these fields, the imported records have blanks.
Some column labels in the target table include Japanese (non-ASCII) characters.
After uploading the Excel file, new columns named like u_rplcd_n_ascii_xxxxxxxxx (where 'xxxxxxxxx' are numerical digits) appeared in the import set table, corresponding to the original Japanese-named columns.
This issue only occurs after upgrading to Xanadu and was not observed in Washington.
These newly created u_rplcd_n_ascii_xxxxxxxxx columns appear empty after import.
Here are the reproduction steps. Please note that EasyImport has been regularly performed on this table without issue prior to Xanadu:
- Display the EasyImport target table list.
- Right-click on any field and select "Import".
- Select "Insert" and create/download the Excel template.
- Populate data into each column of the downloaded Excel template and upload it.
- Observe that some columns are imported as empty, even though data was provided.
At this point, corresponding u_rplcd_n_ascii_xxxxxxxxx columns are generated in the import set table.
Is this a known issue?
Could you please advise on any available workarounds or solutions?
Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @Hiroshi Matsumo ,
PRB1804838 seems to be related to your issue. (refer to the below KB article)

This problem fixed in Xanadu Patch 5.
So if the content of this KB article matches your issue, updating to Xanadu Patch 5 might resolve it.
Thanks.
