how to do sanity check for Snow instance???what is meaning Sanity Check..??

Hi every one,

I am getting confuse how to do sanity check and how verify is any affect on discovery module after upgrade patchs.

and aslo how to know how the probes identifying the CIs .

Please suggest me the proper   document or send me the snopshots.

Have you reviewed the upgrade best practices on the Wiki?

By default the upgrade process skips all customizations you have made to your instance.   This means that the any changes you have made to Discovery probes and sensors will be left as is.   Once the upgrade is complete you can review which records were not upgraded due to customizations and you can review whether or not you want to keep your customized version.

There is always the possibility that upgrades elsewhere in the instance will cause a customized script to stop working, and that is why it is important to create a comprehensive test plan, and thoroughly evaluate the upgrade on a sub-prod instance.
