Hi everyone,
I would like to know how I can earn Learning Credits in ServiceNow.
I have completed my ServiceNow certifications and I’m currently looking to continue my learning and build my profile through ServiceNow learning programs.
Could someone please explain:
How can I earn Learning Credits?
Which courses, events, or activities provide Learning Credits?
Is there any way for an individual learner to earn them for free?
Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @Manish2026
You can't earn learning credits and there is neither courses that provide learning credits - they are bought from a company instance.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
Best regards

Hi @Manish2026
If you are looking for discount price for exam as a student , then you can get the benefit
If your university is a designated academic partner, you can get free access to on-demand courses, lab instances, and free certification exams integrated directly into your curriculum or continuing education
https://www.servicenow.com/standard/other-documents/snu-academic-partnerships-overview.html
If not, in that case also , you can access learning courses free of cost but for any certification exam, maintenance fee (CMP) , you have to pay.

Thank you, @Tanushree Maiti ma'am, for the detailed clarification and for sharing the resources.
As our university is a ServiceNow Academic Partner, I have already received access to the CSA and CAD certification exams and successfully cleared both certifications.
Could you please guide me on what opportunities or learning paths I can pursue further as a student? For example, are there any additional certifications, free courses, learning programs, events, or other student benefits that I can take advantage of through the ServiceNow Academic Partnership?
I would really appreciate your guidance on the next steps I can take to continue building my ServiceNow profile.
Thank you!

Hi @Manish2026
Great to hear that you’ve already cleared CSA and CAD! 🎉 Are you final year student?
My suggestions for your next steps would be:
Go through different use cases: Read the use cases shared in the ServiceNow Community. Try to solve them yourself first, and then compare your approach with the accepted solutions.
Start freelancing if possible: If you can get freelance opportunities using your ServiceNow skills, it will give you valuable real-time, hands-on experience.
Strengthen your technical skills: Focus on areas like Scripting, Flow Designer, Integrations, Scheduled Jobs, Service Catalog development, and other core ServiceNow concepts.
Understand job expectations: Search online for ServiceNow job descriptions requiring 1–2 years of experience. Identify the skills and responsibilities commonly mentioned and prepare yourself accordingly.
Start applying for jobs: Once you feel confident with the above areas and have some hands-on experience, start applying for relevant ServiceNow positions.
All the best! Keep learning and practicing consistently—you’ll get there. 👍

Hi @Tanushree Maiti ma'am,
Yes, I’m currently in my 4th year (7th semester) of B.Tech and I’m a 2027 passout.
Thank you so much for the detailed guidance and for suggesting a clear roadmap. I’ll definitely work on the areas you mentioned, especially Scripting, Flow Designer, Integrations, Scheduled Jobs, and Service Catalog development. I’ll also practice the use cases shared in the ServiceNow Community and look for opportunities to gain more hands-on experience.
Since I have already cleared CSA and CAD, my next focus will be on strengthening my practical skills and preparing myself for ServiceNow Developer roles.
Also, if you come across any suitable internship, fresher opportunity, hands-on project, or other opportunity where I could contribute and gain real-world ServiceNow experience, I would be very grateful if you could consider me.
I’m sharing my resume and LinkedIn profile below for your reference. Please feel free to have a look at my profile.
Thank you again for your valuable guidance and encouragement!

Hello @Manish2026 ,
Learning Credits (LCs) are not something you normally earn by completing courses, certifications, or community activities. They are essentially a payment currency used for ServiceNow training and certification-related offerings.
According to ServiceNow, Learning Credits are generally purchased by a company/organization and then allocated to its employees through ServiceNow University.
If you work for a ServiceNow customer or partner, check with your company's ServiceNow/Training administrator or manager. Your organization may already have a Learning Credit pool.
If your company does not have credits, the organization can purchase them from ServiceNow.
ServiceNow University has many free on-demand learning resources.
If your goal is to continue building your ServiceNow profile, I would recommend focusing on:
Free ServiceNow University learning paths
Product-specific courses and micro-certifications
Hands-on practice with a PDI
ServiceNow Community participation
Building projects/use cases and documenting them
you can refer this : https://learning.servicenow.com/lxp/en/account-user-training-and-learning-credit-management/managing...
If this helps you then mark it as helpful and accept as solution.
Regards,
Aditya
