IRM License missing in Personal Developer Instance

On my Yokohama PDI Instance, I had IRM Licenses and could access the GRC Modules.

After requesting a new PDI on Xanadu, I no longer have any IRM Licenses.

So, even though I've installed the GRC Plugins, I can't access them.

How do I get the IRM License in the PDI so I can access the GRC Modules?

Hi @R_Schmidt

Few checks:

  • In the application navigator, search for GRC.

  • In the workspace, check if Compliance Workspace is showing.

  • Go to the Role table and search for compliance to see if the roles are installed.

Now:

  • Did you install the GRC: Advanced Core plugin? If yes, repair that plugin.

  • Also, repair the Policy and Compliance plugins.

  • If the roles are installed, assign the Compliance Admin and Manager roles to your system admin.

Logout and log back in.

FYI: PDI doesn’t come with support, and no one from ServiceNow can directly help. You can get assistance only from the community.

I checked, and there are no sn_grc... roles.

As mentioned previously, I have refreshed all 4 of the GRC Plugins.

I don't see any GRC: Advanced Core plugin.

Hi @R_Schmidt

Mate, to run GRC, these plugins are a must. If you’ve installed them and it’s still not working or showing, it’s better to release this instance and take a new one instead of spending more time troubleshooting.

I gave up trying to resolve this. When I looked for GRC plugins, all I saw was the Families, and they showed as installed.

I released my Xanadu instance and tried to request a Yokohama instance, now I get a message that an instance can't be allocated to me.

Hi @R_Schmidt

Yes, this is a known issue nowadays. PDIs are not getting quickly allocated and assigned to users. You need to wait or keep trying after some time. Since PDI doesn’t come with support, waiting is the only option.
