My developer instance (dev296140) is offline. I’ve tried refreshing it multiple times, but it still isn’t waking up. Please help.

Hi @LakshmeeshaB ,

As you might know, there is no support available from ServiceNow in relation to PDIs, hence you can only wait until it comes online again or release your instance and request a fresh installation.

If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.

Best regards

Hi @LakshmeeshaB

I've been using PDI without any issues since this morning, but I've noticed several posts in the community about PDI being offline. Here are some points to consider:

There is no support available for PDI.

If you can wait, let's wait a bit longer.

You can release this instance and start a new one, but you will lose your previous data. To avoid losing update sets in the future, make sure to take regular backups of your PDI.

There have been 3-4 posts in the community today about PDI failures or unavailability. Based on the responses, you might need to wait 1-2 days and hopefully, the PDI will be back online.

Hi @LakshmeeshaB,

if you go to: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/manage-instance you can see your instance's status.

What does it say? It might be under unscheduled maintenance like mine:

or just hibernating.... review the status or PDI FAQs, it will give you the idea

Hi @LakshmeeshaB

clicked “Actions” → “Release Instance.”
When it asked for a reason to release the instance, I selected “My instance is not waking from hibernation.” It then provided a link, where I reported that my instance was down. Now, my instance is back up and available.
