there’s no other choice. The reason is that PDI doesn’t come with support, so no one can help here. It’s better to release this and get a new instance.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Hi @AnthonyMull
Yours is probably the 3rd or 4th OST I’ve seen in the last 2–3 days where members reported that the PDI got stuck in Yordar for several days, and there was no resolution even after waiting. Since you’ve already waited 10 days, it would be better to release this snatch and take a new one.

Hi @AnthonyMull,
happened to me too, and to others as well, see this: https://www.servicenow.com/community/upgrades-and-patching-forum/developer-site-issue-quot-upgrading...
Anyways, if you have a local login, not only "Start building" button, then you should be able to log in despite the ongoing maintenance... or at least I tried to log in and got in. Then I backup everything that I didn't want to lose, store it in a colleague's PDI, then released old and requested a new instance, then moved it back (backup at that PDI, also exported to GitHub and data exported to XML).
There's nothing you could do, perhaps you can continue using the PDI if you have that access, but it's annoying, so sooner or later you will most likely need to release it... I had it since February this year so I had there many things that I didn't want to lose. If you want, check how to backup to GiThub, there are many tutorials and it's quite simple. :))

Hi @AnthonyMull
If your PDI has been stuck upgrading for this long, the most practical option is to spin up a new PDI. Unfortunately, PDIs don’t have official support, so there isn’t much that can be done to recover a stuck upgrade.
If your instance still opens when you click Start Building, I’d suggest moving all your work into Update Sets and exporting them. Once that’s done, create a new instance and import your update sets there.
That’s usually the quickest and safest way to move forward in this situation.
f my response helped, please mark it as the accepted solution so others can benefit as well.
