User Administration SSO / Non SSO

Dear Community,

On our Prod we have SSO and on our Dev we don't - we do suncronize with MS AD to add new users to ServiceNow.

I discovered a difference creating users and enabling them to login.

On Prod: Under AD information you will find below we use:

On Dev we have to add // - else user can't login

Dev:

It a challenge each time we clone from Prod to Dev.

Anyone in the Community that knows why, we need to add // to enable the user to login?

Thank you in advance   Best regards Helle Hansen

Your screenshots look to be the same. Are you referring to both fields with // in front of them, or just the samaccountname?

Also: if you don't have SSO on DEV, why don't they login with local credentials?

Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Dear Mark,

Login in local on DEV is not possible unless I add the two slash in front like shown on below picture   - that is the challange :-9

Sorry the 2 pictures should be these
