Fast tracking Figma Designs to ServiceNow process

Hi all,

(Sorry if I haven't explained this well. I am a little out of my depth with ServiceNow still.)

Earlier this year, I discovered ServiceNow's Yokohama (now Zurich) UI Library in the Figma community, which has since elevated our practice due to sped-up delivery output. Before I came onto the team, cross-project-stretched designers had to create components from scratch on the fly, manually and lived in a "template" file riddled with version drift, inconsistent "components", screenshots and dated annotations.

As you can imagine, this has excited upper management, and they want to further speed up the process by using the code in Figma to push to the ServiceNow Employee Centre to speed up implementation (they were thinking "github"). The team who are used to manually configuring in SNOW are not so sure how this can happen.

I have since seen the ServiceNow x Figma: Design to Enterprise Apps in Minutes feature release, which looked promising to my UX eye, but I have been told by the devs that it is not suitable, as it only applies to custom apps and not existing OOTB system modules or just creation of simple forms/flows, which is what we are mostly producing.

So, are there faster ways of working to connect high-fidelity Employee Centre components and template wireframes within Figma to ServiceNow to speed up the process?
