The session in K24
In our time together, we demonstrated how leveraging usage data and understanding user behavior can be a powerful tool for making successful decisions about products and features. It also equipped participants with the necessary knowledge to start exploring User Experience Analytics effectively and gain important insights.
Uber's success story set the stage by showcasing how they tracked data to assess new features and identify untapped opportunities. This example helped to understand how the strategic use of usage metrics and design principles can drive innovation and establish new trends.
As the workshop progressed, we delved into the fundamentals of metrics and how a clear understanding of the challenges and goals can help define what to track. We selected four key categories to explore: Adoption, Retention, Engagement, and Performance, each crucial for shaping effective product development strategies.
A hands-on segment of the workshop provided participants with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of metrics and design. Through interactive exercises involving categories and cards, attendees gained practical insights into how different metrics can be leveraged to address specific challenges and drive user engagement.
Towards the conclusion, attention turned to the practical application of User Experience Analytics in the ServiceNow Platform. Through a demonstration, participants were equipped with the understanding needed to start navigating UXA and obtaining valuable insights.
