Hi everyone,
I've been in an Administrator position for nearly 5 months now, with a total of 8 months of ServiceNow exposure. I came across the Melbourne User Group back in November last year and am wondering if it's still an active group. It seems like other states, like Queensland, have more regular meetups (monthly or bi-monthly), and I’m curious to know if the Melbourne group holds similar events or if there’s less activity in this region.
I'm really eager to connect with like-minded individuals, share experiences, and learn about the exciting projects others are working on. If anyone has information on upcoming meetups or events, or if you’d like to connect, please let me know!
Thanks in advance, and looking forward to hearing from you all.
Best regards,
Martijn

Hi Martijn,
Welcome !
In my experience this is a very quiet group.
I think I joined over a year ago and have seen very little traffic - your post yesterday is the 1st traffic I have seen in a long while.
Having said that, I am also not active here, I am busy trying to get my SNOW work done that I get paid for !!!!
The online communities are very active and responsive, but it seems not much local activity.
Regards,
Andrew

A suggestion for last year's Victoria SNUG coordinators (I don't want to dob you in IS 😉 -- if the Victoria-based SN community is time-poor, is there an opportunity to connect us to the active SNUG groups virtually? No need to re-create the wheel/agenda. Could the different SNUG groups 'take turns' in hosting/coordinating?

Hi E,
This seems like a very good idea to me.
I WFH 100% of the time as most of my employer's clients are Federal Government and thus Canberra based so I spend my entire life in Teams/Webex/Zoom catch-ups. As we all know the SNOW architecture is perfect for remote work and I see no reason why virtual catch-ups could not work out either.
COVID has completely flipped the working landscape on its head - in a good way I believe. Its a brave new world and thinking outside the box is now the new norm!

Hi Everyone,
Love the energy here, and it has been sufficient to draw my attention.
The local events are meant to bring people together in the same space, network and generally share experiences.
Watch this space - Event dates incoming!
