How to allow multiple selection in catalog item variable?

I want to have the effect in the screenshot. However, can't find a variable type which allows multiple selection. Thanks.

you can create variable of type Select box and add choices to it, keep this always hidden

Then create list collector type variable which brings choices from question_choice table for the above variable

Another easy approach, create custom table with 1 column and add those values and then use list collector variable pointing to this table
