Remove option from dropdown

I am wanting to remove the Strategy and Data Reporting (SDR) from the highlighted field. When I right click assignment group to remove SDR, it does not appear there. How do I troubleshoot and remove the desired option?

If you want to remove an assignment group from assignment group field, I would deactivate the support group first. Then I would configure assignment group field to show active assignment groups only. This would be better approach going forward for maintanence.
