LLM Topic Block not visible/available in NLU-based Virtual Agent Topic

Hi Community,

I am encountering an issue while designing a workflow in Virtual Agent Designer.

Scenario:

1. I have created a Topic Block with the type LLM (Now Assist enabled).

2. I am currently building a "standard" Topic that uses NLU as the discovery model.

3. When I try to add the 'Topic Block' node to my NLU Topic canvas, the LLM Topic Block I created does not appear in the selection list.

Technical Details:

• Instance Version: Zurich

• Store Plugins: Now Assist for Virtual Agent is active.

• Goal: I want to leverage the generative capabilities of the LLM Topic Block within my existing NLU-based conversational flow.

Question: Is there a known limitation that prevents LLM Topic Blocks from being called within NLU Topics? Or is there a specific configuration (like Input/Output mapping or Compatibility settings) that I need to toggle to make it available?

Any insights or workarounds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

As far as I know, we can’t call topics in a cross way.

Yes, there is a known functional limitation. In the Zurich version, LLM-based topic blocks cannot be called within traditional NLU topic flows.
