Create a knowledge article to record and save information related to industrial processes.

Role required: sn_icw.knowledge_manager or sn_icw.knowledge_author
Procédure

Navigate to the .

Select Create article.

Specify the knowledge base that the article should be included in.
Each article can belong to only one knowledge base.

Select the template for your article.
The template can be Standard or One point lesson.

On the Industrial knowledge article form, fill in the fields.

Add attachments to the article if needed.
- Facultatif :
Create custom templates that can be reused if needed.
- Facultatif :
Create a knowledge block if needed.
Knowledge blocks are pieces of content that can be reused in multiple articles.

Select Save and then Publish.
If you select Checkout, a new version of the published article is created.
- Facultatif :
Link the knowledge article to functional locations or equipment records.
After saving the article, you can associate it with specific assets from Related lists on the article form.

On the knowledge article form, navigate to the Functional Locations or Equipment related list.

Select New.

Select the functional location or equipment record that you want to associate with the article.
The Knowledge article field is automatically populated with the current article.

Select Submit.

Published articles are displayed and available in the search functionality.
