Request assignment group recommendations for a vulnerable item

Request Vulnerability Assignment Recommendations so that you can view assignment group recommendations. You can request recommendations if a matching assignment group is not available or is incorrect for a vulnerable item (VI).

Before you begin

Role required: sn_vul.remediation_owner

Procedure

1. Navigate to All > Vulnerability Response > Vulnerable Items and open a VI.
   The item must be in the Open, Deferred, Under investigation, or Awaiting implementation state.
2. Click the recommend icon () next to the Assignment group field for assignment suggestions for that VI.
3. From the Assignment Group Recommendations dialog box, select a recommendation that is based on the confidence score.
   The confidence score predicts how relevant the match is for the VI. For more information, see Machine Learning solutions for Vulnerability Response.
4. Click Assign.

Result

The selected group appears in the Assignment group field and the Assignment type changes to Recommendation.
