Enter metadata

Fill in the metadata for your service graph connector.

Before you begin

Role required: sn_sec_spc_core.developer

Procedure

1. Navigate to Workspaces > Security Posture Control > Connector builder.
   The Custom API connectors are displayed.
2. Optional: Select an existing connector record from the Connector name column to edit it.
3. To create a record, select New connector.
   A tab opens in your browser and the required fields for the Enter metadata step are displayed.
4. Fill in the fields.

   Field	Description
   Connector name	A unique name. You might prefer to add 'CXF' in the title to help you easily distinguish the API connectors that you create from the API connectors from other services (vendors).
   Vendor	Connector's vendor name from the list. The templates in the connector builder provide you with options that are based on popular API integrations from security tool vendors. You can choose a vendor to base your connector on. Alternatively, select the to add a vendor name and URL. Select the refresh icon () to see your vendor on the list.
   Connector category	Select one for your connector type.
   Description	A unique description for this API connector to help you easy identify its data imports from your other connectors.

5. Select Save and continue to save your edits.
   You must save your changes before you can continue.
