Request generative AI skills in the Now Assist panel for Now Assist for Security Incident Response
Request a security incident summary or closure notes from the Now Assist panel.
Before you begin
Roles required: si_analyst, si_manager or sn_si.basic
Procedure
- Log in to an instance where the Now Assist for Security Incident Response application is installed.
- In the legacy Core UI, navigate to and open a security incident that is assigned to you.
- Alternatively, navigate to and open a security incident that is assigned to you.

Select the Now Assist icon (
) in the top banner.
Option Description Generate resolution notes In the Now Assist panel, select Generate resolution notes.
The closure notes generated in the panel are identical to those generated when you close a security incident from a record.
Closure notes for security incidents are created based on any actions taken for remediation and containment, in addition to other relevant details related to their closure.
Note:You might want to review the generated text and make sure it's accurate before you close the security incident. Edit the notes or delete them to provide your own.See Generate closure notes for a security incident with Now Assist for Security Incident Response for more information.
Summarize a security incident In the Now Assist panel, select Summarize a record.
The summary generated in the panel is identical to the one that you generate from a security incident record.
Summaries generated by AI might miss key details. You might prefer to review the summary for accuracy and completeness before you proceed.

Generate correlation insights In the Now Assist panel, select Generate correlation insights.
