Close a remediation task

    • If you determine that the issue associated with a remediation task can be immediately closed without further analysis, you can use the Close feature.

    Before you begin

    Role required:
    • sn_vulc.admin
    • sn_vulc.remediation_owner
      Note:
      With the sn_vulc.remediation_owner role, you can reassign or close remediation tasks that are assigned to you or to your assignment groups.

    About this task

    Starting with v15.0 of Configuration Compliance, the Close button has been removed for a remediation task.

    When you resolve a remediation task, the resolution notes reflects in the work notes of all its test results.

    Procedure

    1. Open the remediation task record.
    2. Select the Close button.
    3. Describe why the issue is being closed in the pop-up window.
    4. Select Close.
