Create a diagram for a business process map

    • Create business process diagrams and model the future state of the business processes using the Enterprise Modeling and Visualization.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_apm.apm_user

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Enterprise Architecture Workspace.
    2. Open the Modeling page by selecting the Enterprise Modeling and Visualization icon (Modeling).
    3. Select the New drop-down menu.
    4. Select Business process map.
    5. On the Create a business process map form, fill in the details.
      For field information, see Create a business process map form.
    6. Select Create diagram.

    Result

    The business process map gets created and opened in a new tab.
    Note:

    You can add a shape to the canvas by either selecting the shape or by dragging the shape from the Shapes palette to the canvas.

    BPMN shapes are organized into sub-categories in the palette: General, Event, Activity, and Gateway. Expand a sub-category to browse its shapes.

    When you drag a shape from the palette to the canvas, icon you drag matches the shape's appearance on the canvas. To preview a shape before placing it, hover over it in the palette.
