Let's get something out of the way: we don't build accessible software to win awards.
We build accessible software because an estimated 4.8 million people who use the ServiceNow AI Platform have a disability. Enterprise software is often the tool someone didn't choose but still has to use eight hours a day. And when that tool doesn't work for an agent or a requestor or an admin because of a motor impairment, a visual difference, a cognitive need, it's not a minor inconvenience. It's a barrier between a person and their ability to do their job.
That's the work. That's always been the work.
But awards do matter--not as self-congratulation, but as proof points that carry weight in rooms where accessibility still has to make its case. When organisations like the GAAD Foundation, the International Association of Universal Design, or Business Disability Forum recognise what we're doing, it sends a message beyond ServiceNow. It tells the enterprise software industry that accessibility at scale is achievable. It tells procurement teams that they should be asking harder questions about the tools they're buying. And it tells every other company investing in this discipline that the work is being noticed, it's important, and that the bar is moving.
We're sharing this list not as a brag, but as a breadcrumb trail. If you're working on accessibility in your own organisation, we hope this signals that the effort is worth it. The industry is paying attention and you are not a lone crusader! If any of these wins inspire a conversation, a business case, or even just a stubborn refusal to let accessibility slide off the roadmap then that matters more than any award on this list.
