The new Access Simulator feature helps you simulate how access to the specified table would change once a role or group is assigned or removed from the user.

Let's review how easy it is to evaluate access without adding it to the profiles.

The user "Abel Tutor" doesnt have any role in the instance. Let's understand how adding a role impacts his access to data. We are adding 'itil' role to the user.

Once I hit the "Next button", the "preview changes" section clearly shows the access details that the profile will inherit in an intuitive BSM-like map.

The simulated results section clearly indicates the present and future changes to various operations that Abel is able to perform on the Incident table.

The implementation of an "Access Analyzer" tool can greatly enhance the productivity of administrative personnel by streamlining their workflow. With this tool in place, administrators are relieved from the laborious task of sifting through extensive logs to pinpoint discrepancies in user access rights. It eliminates the need for manual scrutiny to determine whether a user has been inadvertently granted excessive privileges or, conversely, if they lack necessary permissions. By automating the process of access review, the tool ensures a more efficient and accurate management of user access, thereby reducing the risk of security breaches and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulations. This not only saves valuable time but also allows administrators to focus on more strategic tasks that require their expertise.

Finally admins have option to take actions if they are satisfied with the simulation results.

Once the access is added, we receive the confirmation message-

Finally on visiting Abel's profile as an admin, you can review the access levels added to his profile.
