Where to find this to disable OOB approval comments?

Approval is triggered from the OOB 'Ask for Approval' flow designer action but not sure where. We suspect its coming from a script include? still unsure nevertheless.

What did you already check? You can run a 'script contains string' on the script include table. But my guess would be the 'ApprovalCommentsUtil' script include. Just because it adds comments to the approvals.

Check Business rules Approval Events (Task) and Approval Events (Non-Task) 

Check if "com.glide.hub.flow.approval.history_comment" system property exists, if not create a new property and set it false
