How to disable search on the virtual agent. I could not find 'Allow free text input' OR 'Enable Free Form' option on the Virtual Agent Designer. I did not find any settings on the topic to disable it. Request any inputs.

There is an alternative solution for this.
We can promote the topics so that they are visible as a pre fill and can hide the 'Show me everything' by setting the property to true https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/washingtondc-servicenow-platform/page/administer/virtual-agent/ta...
To promote a topic , navigate to
Conversational Interfaces --> Settings --> Virtual Agent --> Custom Greetings & Setup --> Default chat experience (or pick your chat experience)
Click on 'Promoted Topics' Tab --> Add Topic
Choose the topic and order and click 'Save'.
Go back to Custom Greetings & Setup and click on 'Update'. Sometimes it doesn't update , so click on default experience link
1. Identify one or more Setup topics to include. Keep in mind that the default experience will change for those you select.
The user experience would be as below where users try to search and chat goes nowhere
Note: There is a limitation to show only 6 as promoted topics but there might be a property to increase that limit as well.
Please mark this as helpful and accept it as a solution if this resolves your query.
