Live Chat notification sound

Our Help Desk just switched over to SNOW about a month ago.

I sometimes have to do the Live Chats and do not always get a sound notification for new chats.

I checked my settings and they are all enabled.  (See Screen shot below)

I hear a very short sound some times.  And sometimes I just happen to be watching the screen and I see a message pop up and no sound.   This has caused me to miss quite a few chats coming in.

Is their a way to fix this issue so it stops happening.

Windows 10 with Chrome Browser.

Hi @dbunch, we are experiencing the same problem. Have you found a solution?

Does this KBA help? https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0791860v

  1. Go to Chrome settings
  2. Search for "site settings" and open it.
  3. Go to "All sites" and search for your site(svb.service-now.com) and open it.
  4. Look for "Sound" and select "Allow" in the corresponding drop-down.

Hi @Dexter Chan thank you for the link. In our case it seems to be random, so I directed agents to this link https://support.servicenow.com/kb?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0864166

I was curious if anything else could be done.
