Possibility of configuring Microsoft Teams Quick Action in Agent Chat ServiceNow

Is it possible to configure a Microsoft Teams quick action similar to the Zoom quick action available in ServiceNow Agent Chat?
Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hi my Friend;

 There’s no out-of-the-box Microsoft Teams quick action like the Zoom one in Agent Chat.

The Zoom button exists because ServiceNow ships a dedicated Zoom integration that already includes that quick action and all the wiring behind it. Microsoft Teams doesn’t have the same native Agent Chat quick action today.

That said, you’re not stuck.

What I have seen do instead is build a small custom quick action that:

  • creates a Teams meeting using Microsoft Graph

  • grabs the join URL

  • drops the link into the Agent Chat conversation (or opens it for the agent)

From the agents perspective it feels almost the samme as the Zoom button — it’s just custom, not out of the box.

What you cant do right now:

  • enable a Teams quick action with a plugin

  • reuse the Zoom quick action for Teams

  • turn this on with simple configuration

So the bottom line is:

  • Native Zoom-style Teams button → no

  • Custom Teams quick action → yes
