ServiceNow Global Search Configuration

Hi Community,

 

I am looking to configure the Global Search display result, As of now in the below image, when i search using a text from the source it displays the "title [yellow]" as the main line with big character size, my requirement is to get the KB number[Orange] instead of the title. Could you please walk me through the process of achieving the required result.

After that, do we have any special characters like "*", "", "&", "%" , "AND", "OR" etc., to use in the global search to narrow down the results in the search page?

could you please suggest me all the possible keys used in the search and what it can used for.

Navigate to the table "Search Result Display Configuration" using the link below:

Replace instance with your instance name :

Now search for your table for which you want to configure the additional fields as shown below:

I am trying to configure search results for a custom table.

IN "Search result configuration" I can only update the OOTB tables and can't able to create new "search result configuration" for my custom table.

Any help on this?, or any other steps to configure display the other field instead of title in search results?
