Business rule that runs off sctask and rolls up to RITM and REQ

I have a requirement to do the following:
Duration field on the catalog tasks to populate when the catalog task is marked "Closed Imcomplete" or "Closed Complete"

Duration field on RITMs tp populate when all their CTASK's have been closed.

Duration field on requests to populate when all their RITMs have been closed

Any hints on how to complete this requirement without conflicting with OOTB features.,?

This is the code i am using to basically ensure that duartion field is p[opualted when the catalog task is clsoed and this should rouul up to the RITM and the request. However the duration field is not populating

Note - The duration field is a duration field type
