Need to build a new Workspace? Have you heard of App Engine Studio?

App Engine Studio (AES) is a guided, visual, low-code development environment designed to help both technical and non-technical users build applications. If you are trying to build a new workspace by going to Experience module and clicking New and so on. Stop for a second.

When you first launch AES, you’re presented with this screen:

From this point, you can either create a brand-new app or import one from source control. If you already have an existing app, the Guided option helps you add new features to it.

For this blog, we’ll start fresh. Click Create App to begin or choose to import from source control instead.

The initial setup screen prompts you for the app’s name and an optional description, and you can also upload an image to give your app a personalized touch.

Next, specify which roles should have access to your new app. Admin and User are included by default, but you can add or remove roles as needed.

After a few seconds, your new app is created and it’s ready for further configuration.
