Catalog Item won't be searchable for catalog item owner on Service Portal if item is associated with

Hi Everyone,

- There is catalog item which name is  "Additional Software" it is visible on portal but the same Catalog Item won't be searchable for catalog item owner on Service Portal if item is associated with "Software" Categories under Portal Catalogs. but when i change the category from "Software" to "Can We Help You?" it is working fine.

 

-This issue happened for catalog item owner not for admin user. 

 

-Can someone help to resolve this issue and please find attached screenshot?

It shows up in the 'recommended' widget, but is it also available when you go to the topic? Does it show there?

@Mark Manders  - i didn't get it can you explain in brief with navigation so, it can easier to understand me.

 

When the users goes to the topic and tries to click to it there, does he see it, or is it just in the recommended widget?

Is user able to see this item via normal navigation in portal? Is any user criteria?
