I am currently unable to log in to my ServiceNow developer instance at https://dev260581.service-now.com/. We actively use this instance for our development work and am confident that it has not gone into hibernation.
Could you please assist in unlocking our account or let me know the necessary steps to regain access?
I am getting this error even when I enter the correct credentials - "User name or password invalid. To reset your admin password click here. Please note this is different than the credentials used to sign in to the Developer Site."

have you tried logging in through the developer website: https://developer.servicenow.com/dev.do#!/home and press start building?
The only screen I see is prompting me to 'Request an Instance', which will create a new one
