How to Migrate Knowledge Articles from Development to Production Environments

HI,

Please advise on best practices for transferring knowledge articles from the development environment to the production environment.

Since knowledge articles are not included in update sets, I believe a separate method is necessary.

Is using export sets the standard approach?

Hi @Tepp ,

 

you could utilize the “add to update set” ui action. To get this UI action, you need to pull it from developer site and to your instance. By doing this, you can add any / almost any record to an update set.

Hi.

It has already been mentioned, you can also add it to an update set.

Another method is to export knowledge from your development environment and import it all at once into your production environment.

If you're adding only a small amount of knowledge this time, it's best to add it to an update set.

If you're adding a large amount of knowledge, the export method is easier.
