Instance Scan Finding: "A table's elements are on compatible columns"

Hello ,

I recently ran a full Instance Scan and received 1,390 findings for the check: "A table's elements are on compatible columns"

Findings Detail:

  • Target Field: cost

  • Affected Tables: cmdb related tables

  • Dictionary Configuration: The field is defined as Floating Point Number with a Max Length of 40.

  • Observation: I have verified that the parent table and the child tables all share the exact same definition (Floating Point, length 40). No recent changes have been made to these dictionary entries.

Any advice on best practices for remediation without risking data loss would be greatly appreciated.
