Not able to submit the catalog item request in workspace

I have created one variant named CI Page under the page in UI builder. Added the component catalog item alone in that CI Page variant. 

Requirement is that: Create one UI action and clicking of that UI action, it should open catalog item request in next tab in custom workspace and user should be able to submit the catalog item request. 

Solution: Created one UI action named "Upload Bid Lines" and added code as below

Created one page "CI Page" including the component catalog item as below:

On clicking of the button, i am able to open the catalog item request in next tab in workspace as above:

Issue: On clicking of submit button in the workspace on the catalog item request page, it is not submitting the request and it stays on the same page.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

I think you may have to hook up an event to navigate to a new page:

Here are a couple of important points to ensure it works properly:

1. Configure event mapping so that after submitting the form, the system knows where to redirect the user.
2. Set the Mode field to “Standalone” in the component configuration; otherwise, the submit functionality will not work correctly.
