Yes mate, there’s really no other choice — PDIs don’t come with official support, so there's no one to help or confirm whether a newly released PDI will have the same issue or not.
What I can suggest is:
-
Start with an older version of a PDI,
-
Then upgrade it to the latest release — this might help avoid the issue you're facing.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Thank you for your message.
I have checked the article at the URL and was working in an administrator role.
The current status of App Engine Studio is as follows:
As far as I can tell from the screenshot, PDI appears to have been created in the administrator role. 😞

HI @hironori susuta ,
now there is only one thing left to check
go to your user profile and click on edit in the roles related list
just make sure you only have these roles
if you find snc_external try to remove it if it's not getting removed try to run a background script with setWorkflow(false) and get rid of it
if you are still having the issue create a new user record and give the role admin and snc_internal and use that user account
Please mark my answer as helpful/correct if it resolves your query.
Regards,
Chaitanya

Thank you for your message.
I checked the admin user roles.
I was unable to find either snc_internal or snc_external for the admin user roles on the roles screen... 😞
