Report with limited columns

I am making a report with several fields from a catalog item, however when adding the 39th column, my report is completely blank, until the 38th column the report is filled. Do you know if there is a column limit for the report? How can I increase the number of columns to be accepted in the report?

Similar problem, my issue is when I have 29 to 31 columns (mainly from variables) the report will fail. The interesting part is it is not related to the number of fields but the content. If I add a simple field like UPDATED as the 31st it works but if I add a text field from variables it fails. I tried eliminating each field, but it doesn't appear to be related to anyone one field. Any combination will eventually fail around 29 to 31 columns.

Having the same issue with ~30 columns in a list report. Columns are mainly variables from a catalog item with a handful from sc_task table.
