Some components are missing in Xanadu UI builder

Hi.

 

I can't see basic 'container' and 'requester chat popover' components in UI builder component list in Xanadu.

I have two Xanadu and the symptom is same on both (one is demo instance and the other is PDI that newly created with Xanadu.)

 

So I asked to now support, but curiously he gave me screenshot that he can see the components in my instance.

So we are guessing role can be the cause, but I'm using admin id.

Does anyone meet this problem?

"Requestor Chat Popover" is marked as an internal component which means it will only show up in UIB if you have maint access. You'll see this on this record /now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/sys_uib_toolbox_component.do%3Fsys_id%3D6030631316e2dd11d17711ed9fd99971

The "Flexbox" and "Grid" Layouts are both simple containers.

Ok, I'm querying to product team because I don't want to customized OOTB or copy to new one  because I'm developing store application.

I've got response from Now Support.

 

PRB1742738 : "Currently user can select Requestor Chat Popover component in UI Builder. This component is not meant to be used in workspace. This component is entry point for VA web-client and is only meant for requester persona. Hence, please make requestor Chat Popover component internal only in uib."

 

Of course UIB also provides portal experience, but actually it is limited to specific usecase such as departmental portal, not for whole enterprise. So I guess this is the background of this decision.
