Translation does not work properly on mobile app.

The translation does not work properly on mobile app. The fields in the existing case are properly translated, but the translation for the fields in the 'Create New Case' tab on the input form screen does not work at all when creating a new case. System Localization > Translated Name/Field doesn't work there either.  Is translation limited on the mobile app or am I missing something there?
