Virtual agent message counter accumulating

Hi experts,

Whenever I reload the page on the portal, the Virtual Agent button's message counter accumulates as if there are new messages, but there aren't.

I'm using the parameter "skip_load_history: true" I don't know if this can be related.

Has anyone gone through this, could you help me?
